Google AI Mode is being updated to include visual responses for shopping searches. Instead of only showing text, the system can now display images and graphics to help spark ideas.
The update uses a visual version of Google’s “fan-out” method. This breaks a query into subtopics and runs several searches in the background. With visuals, the system can also analyse images, look at smaller details, and consider context.
As a result, AI Mode can present a grid of images alongside text, giving users more relevant and inspiring results.
